Booking Terms & Conditions
PTSA CPD Provision
Terms and conditions for professional development activities organised and run through The Pathfinder Teaching School Alliance.
These terms and conditions apply to the booking of all PTSA CPD courses.
Tickets and confirmation details are sent automatically from Eventbrite. Depending on the details entered at the time of booking, confirmation will be sent to both the person booking the tickets and the attendee.
3. Payment Terms
Following the CPD activity your school or college will be invoiced accordingly (please choose this preferred method of payment on Eventbrite)
Alternatively, payment can be made at the time of booking by Credit Card (please note fees will be incurred)
If fees are not paid in accordance with the instructions provided, PTSA reserve the right either:
- To cancel the booking(s) and re-allocate the place(s) for the CPD activity to another participant(s); or
- To require payment on the first day of the CPD activity
In the event of late payment, PTSA reserves the right to charge interest on all outstanding amounts at the rate of 2% per calendar month or part thereof from the last date that payment was due to the date that payment is made.
Please note that all payments must be made in sterling.
Details of fees are provided on the bookings page of the appropriate CPD activity. VAT may also be payable.
Please note that your school or organisation will be charged the appropriate fee for the activity you apply for based on the organisation you belong to, irrelevant of any fee you may incorrectly select during the application process.
5a. Cancellations (made by the delegate)
- PTSA understands that cancellations by delegates are sometimes unavoidable. In the event of a cancellation the following terms will be applied:
- Cancellations 2 weeks before the event: No charge
- Cancellations between 1 and 2 weeks before the event: 50% charge
- Cancellations one day to one week before the event: 75% charge
- No shows: 100% charge
- No shows at FREE events: £25 admin charge
Cancellations must be made by email to firstname.lastname@example.org (in order to confirm the cancellation date). Failure to do so may result in 100% charge being applied.
5b. Cancellations (by PTSA)
PTSA reserve the right to change or alter the presenter, content and/or description of any activity and/or to cancel any activity in their programmes if this is warranted by circumstances beyond their control e.g. adverse weather conditions. It is important therefore that you supply an up to date email address and notify us if this changes.
PTSA reserve the right to cancel or reschedule CPD activities without prior notice, and to amend or alter published programmes, fees, venues and lecturers, without liability. In these circumstances, participants will be offered an alternative date for the same CPD activity, an alternative CPD activity, a credit note or a full refund.
There will be no charge to replace the participant with a substitute. Please inform Pathfinder TSA of the substitute’s details.
If you wish to transfer a booking to an alternative date for the same CPD activity or to an alternative activity, a request must be made to PTSA at least 14 days prior to the start of the original CPD activity. If the request is accepted, there will be no charge other than any additional cost of the alternative activity above that of the original CPD activity.
If the transfer request is received by PTSA within 14 days of the original course start date, there will be an administrative charge of £10 plus VAT.
Please note that all requests to transfer bookings are entirely at the discretion of PTSA.
We are committed to protecting your personal information. Any personal information provided by you or collected by us will be used to enhance your use of the services provided and to enable us to provide products and services which are tailored for your needs. Where CPD is delivered by an external provider (3rd party) we will only share the personal information required to complete your CPD activity booking. PTSA may also use your information for research and statistical purposes. The information produced for these purposes will not include any details that could be used to identify you.
By registering with one of our programmes or services you agree to PTSA providing you with information that may be of interest. If you do not wish your personal details to be used in this way then please change your settings on the registration/booking system.
You agree not to create any content or otherwise transmit any information or material that: is false or misleading; is harassing or invades another’s privacy, harms minors in any way, promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual; is obscene; infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to intellectual property rights; or constitutes spam. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the account and password you use to access PTSA materials and are fully responsible for all activities undertaken.
Revisions of Terms and Conditions
From time to time, if we change the way in which we use your information or our terms, we will amend these Terms and Conditions. If we do this, we will notify you of any changes through an electronic update.
